Currently, centres in Mazyad and Sweihan are fully operational with 24/7 urgent care services. In addition, ten more centres — Al Hili, Al Aamerah, Al Hayer, Neima, Al Quaa, Al Bateen, Al Zafaranah, Al Bahia, Madinat Mohammed Bin Zayed, and Baniyas — have extended their working hours to operate round the clock. These facilities are preparing to introduce urgent care services in the second quarter of 2026 as part of a phased rollout plan.Dr Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of DoH, stated that expanding access to healthcare through continuous service availability represents a key milestone in building a more resilient and responsive healthcare system. She emphasized that accessible, timely care is fundamental to improving patient outcomes and enhancing quality of life across the community.
